Terms and Conditions
Effective Date: June 3, 2026
Company Name: The Bounty Bus
Website: https://thebountybus.com/
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or booking our services. By purchasing a delivery, delivery subscription, or booking a concierge sourcing, you agree to be legally bound by these terms.
1. Scope of Service
The Bounty Bus operates strictly as an independent, third-party logistics courier and high-end sourcing assistant. We do not grow, pack, or produce agricultural food items, nor do we operate a physical food storage or warehousing facility.
For CSA Delivery and Market Stores Online (Pathway A): Our service is limited to traveling to your designated partner farm, collecting your pre-paid box or order under your authorized name, and transporting it directly to your doorstep.
For Concierge Sourcing (Pathway B): We act as your purchasing agent, executing a bulk "just-in-time" procurement loop from offline local micro-farms based on your upfront digital order, and delivering those items immediately to your home.
2. Upfront Front-Loaded Payment
To maintain an asset-light framework, all service fees, delivery surcharges, mileage tiers, and bulk farm-gate grocery costs must be funded and paid for completely upfront at our digital website checkout.
Our weekly storefront ordering window closes strictly every Tuesday night at 11:59 PM EST.
No orders can be altered, canceled, or refunded past this weekly cutoff deadline, as bulk farm procurement lists are immediately locked and transmitted to our rural partners.
3. Farm-Gate Pricing & Weekly Market Fluctuations
Because we bridge the gap with small, independent, offline homesteads, final farm-market prices may slightly fluctuate based on seasonal yields, processing parameters, and natural availability.
By checking out on our site, you agree to our Farm-Gate Price Guarantee.
Any minor under-charges or over-charges dictated by the farm gate on pickup morning will be dynamically adjusted and automatically balanced via a credit or debit on your subsequent week's invoice sequence.
4. Inventory Scarcity & Sold-Out Items
Small-scale, authentic micro-farms operate on limited, seasonal crop and livestock yields.
If an individual artisanal item or specific meat cut becomes unavailable at the farm gate after the Tuesday cutoff, we will contact the customer and suggest a product of equal value.
"Sold Out" status indicators on our website reflect genuine regional scarcity and are utilized to protect our community from over-selling.
5. Temperature Control & Logistics Cold Chain Liability
We prioritize absolute food safety. We maintain a strict, uninterrupted mobile cold chain using commercial insulated carriers, ice configurations, and dry-zone segregation units from the farm gate right up to your property line.
Porch Requirement: You are strictly required to leave a clean, weather-resistant, insulated cooler box or bag with or without fresh ice packs on your porch on your designated regional delivery day. We also ask that you leave any paper bags you wish to get rid of so we can continue to reuse and recycle.
Liability Boundary: Our legal custody, handling tracking, and thermal liability end the exact moment our driver safely deposits your delivery container onto your doorstep and uploads a smartphone proof-of-delivery photograph to our tracking application. We are not responsible for spoilage, theft, wildlife damage, or temperature degradation resulting from bags left unattended post-drop.
6. Geographic Boundaries & Automated Cancellations
Our flat delivery fees and tiered mileage surcharges are locked strictly to specific local zip codes within a designated radius.
If a customer utilizes a manual workaround to bypass checkout location filters from an out-of-zone address, The Bounty Bus reserves the right to immediately cancel the order and issue a full refund, minus any standard digital credit card processing transaction fees.
7. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our logistics storefront following any adjustments constitutes your binding agreement to the updated terms.
